It was born in Mantua in 2022, first as a rental-only commercial business and then transformed into an amateur sports association in 2023.

to especially bring the citizens of Mantua closer to learning about SUP starting from the technical basics, to then practice and navigate independently. The idea was born from a place and the people who live there: the B&B Casanonniborgoangeli in the old fishing village on the outskirts of the city of Mantua where the Riviera-Visentini family lives, whose great-grandparents were fishermen.

The desire to share this corner of history and nature made it possible to start this activity by opening it to the public through the SUP and the B&B.

In 2023, the Association counted more than 150 members and today it is a community of enthusiasts who always want to have new experiences. The Association is registered with sports promotion bodies: CSEN and CSI for the year 2024 and regularly registered in the Sport and Health Register . It enjoys the patronage of the Municipality of Mantua and the Mincio Park

What is Stand Up Paddleboarding and why do it?

Thanks to slow and silent navigation, the impact on the environment is zero. The sport of stand up paddle is complete and suitable for everyone, a relaxing activity that respects the environment and allows you to get to know the area by discovering the hidden wonders of land and water.
